Bright things are happening! But sometimes it’s hard to find out about stuff going on in our neck of the woods. We’re a tiny population of people living on the border of Georgia and South Carolina. We’re in the country surrounded by forest and free-flowing rivers. We appreciate simple pleasures and doing our own thing.

My Purpose
Hello, my name is Chanda Morrison.
Since 2012 I’ve sent email newsletters to a local audience to promote happenings in Long Creek and Mountain Rest, SC.
I was driven to create this website to pick up where the newsletter leaves off. A way to keep information and resources accessible for folks looking for things to do or ways to engage our rural community.
